Mission Statement
- To collect oral histories from American brewers and provide an easily accessible, diverse body of sources for use by scholars, journalists, and the interested public.

Goals
- To collect and process the interviews in accordance with the highest standards of the oral history community.
- To find a permanent host for the archives and assure ongoing preservation.
- To make the interviews available through libraries, museums, and other archives.
